  CLARENVILLE, NL, February 3, 2012 - Marcus Cuomo with a hat trick and Justin Walsh with a goal and four helpers led the St. John's Privateers to an 8-5 victory over the Western Kings in the opening game of the Newfoundland & Labrador Major Midget Showcase Tournament Friday night at the CEC in Clarenville.
 
FOUR GAMES IN A BUSY NSJHL FRIDAY
  LANTZ, NS, February 3, 2012 - There were double games in both divisions in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Friday night. In the Fred Fox Division the East Hants Penguins nipped the division leading Bay Ducks 3-2 in overtime while in Windsor the Eastern Shore Junior Mariners upset the Windsor Royals 5-3.
 
ICECAPS FEND OFF SHARKS FOR WIN
  ST. JOHN'S, NL, February 3, 2012 - The St. John’s IceCaps edged the Worcester Sharks 3-2 in front of 6,287 fans at Mile One Centre in St. John’s on Friday night. The game was one of four involving Atlantic Division teams in the AHL on Friday night.
 
SEA DOGS NEED SHOOTOUT TO EDGE VOLTS
  SAINT JOHN, NB, February 3, 2012 – In a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game that featured plenty of chances but few goals, the Saint John Sea Dogs came away with a 3-2 shootout win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs Friday night in Drummondville.

  MIRAMICHI, NB, February 3, 2012 - The Moncton Mark’s Work Wearhouse Flyers used special teams to rack up an 8-1 win over the Miramichi Rivermen Friday night in NB-PEI Major Midget Hockey action, scoring six on the power play and one shorthander.
 
TIGERS, WESTERN CAPITALS WIN IN MHL MEEK
  CAMPBELLTON, NB, February 3, 2012 - In Maritime Junior Hockey League Roger Meek Division action Friday night the Campbellton Tigers dumped the Miramichi Timberwolves 4-1 at the Memorial Civic Centre in Campbellton and the Summerside Western Capitals tripped the Dieppe Commandos at Credit Union Place in Summerside.
