SCHEDULE UNVEILED FOR FOUR NATIONS CUP
ST. JOHN’S, NL, August 27, 2010. – Hockey Canada announced on Thursday the game schedule for the 2010 Four Nations Cup, set for November 9-13 at Mile One Centre in St. John’s and the Clarenville Events Centre in Clarenville, N.L
 
MURRAY LEAVES HOCKEY CANADA FOR TAMPA BAY
CALGARY, AB, August 16, 2010 – Al Murray has stepped down as head scout of Hockey Canada’s men’s Program of Excellence to take a position as director of amateur scouting with the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning, Hockey Canada announced Monday.. The search for a replacement is to begin immediately.
 
THREE NOVA SCOTIANS NAMED TO UNDER 22 TEAM
TORONTO, ON, August 15, 2010 – Three Nova Scotians were on the list when Hockey Canada announced Sunday the 22 players that will represent their country on Canada’s National Women’s Under-22 Team in a three-game series against the United States’ Women’s Under-22 Select Team next week in Toronto.
 
TWO MARITIME FEMALES NAMED TO UNDER 18 TEAM
TORONTO, ON, August 15, 2010 - A young Nova Scotia female hockey player and one from New Brunswick were among the 13 forwards, seven defencemen and two goaltenders on the roster following the National Women’s Under-18 Team selection camp from August 7-15 in Toronto.
 
CANADA EDGES U.S.A. TO WIN GOLD
PIESTANY, Slovakia, August 14, 2010 - For the third year in a row and sixth time in seven years, Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team has won the gold medals at the 2010 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament, defeating the United States 1-0 in Saturday’s gold medal game in Piestany. The tournament was formerly known as the Junior World Cup.

CANADA'S WOMEN OPEN CAMP IN MONCTON
CALGARY, AB, October 9, 2008 – Canada’s National Women’s Team will open a training camp Thursday at the Kay Arena in Moncton, NB, with head coach Melody Davidson running the team through on-ice sessions and four games against local Midget AAA male teams. The camp will run from October 9-13.
