ATLANTIC CANADIANS SWEEP TO PLAYOFFS, LOSE
FOXBORO, MA, August 1, 2010 - After winning all three preliminary round games at the 2010 Angela Ruggerio Women’s Chowder Cup and outscoring their opposition 15-1, the Atlantic Canadians Women’s Chowder Cup team suffered a heart-breaking 1-0 loss to Waterloo Lady Nationals in their first playoff game Sunday morning.
 
ATLANTIC TEAM WINS TWO AT WOMEN'S CHOWDER
WALPOLE, MA, January 30, 2010 - Megan Colpitts shutout Team Philadelphia Friday afternoon as the Atlantic Canadians Women’s Chowder Cup team opened play at the 2010 Angela Ruggerio Women’s Chowder Cup with a 3-0 win at the Boch Ice Center.

MONCTON, NB - July 30, 2010 - Nicole Blanchette is a young hockey player from Dunville (near St. John’s) NL who travelled to Moncton last week to take part in the selection camp for the Chowder Cup. WALPOLE, MA, July 25, 2010 - The Atlantic Canadians won their first two games of the playoff round at the 2010 Senior Chowder Cup being played in four communities in the Boston region. They edged Hockey Prospects and North Star Hockey in 30 minute elimination round contests leading up to the semifinal and championship games.

DEDHAM, MA, July 9, 2010 - For the second game in a row the Atlantic Canadians dominated IHC Hockey at the Junior Chowder Cup being played in three centres near Boston. Tanner Banks of Fredericton scored two goals and assisted on four others while Matthew Wright, who plays on the Fredericton Minor Midget Caps with Banks scored three goals.

WALPOLE, MA, July 24, 2009 - The Atlantic Canadians were thumped 6-1 Friday afternoon by the Boston Junior Rangers Friday afternoon at the Senior Chowder Cup being played this week at the Iorio Arena in Walpole and three other facilities in the Boston area. The loss drops the Atlantic squad to 1-1.

WALPOLE, MA, July 23, 2009 - Jamie MacIntyre of Charlottetown, PEI scored two goals and Matt Milson of Miramichi, NB supplied a goal and an assist to lead the Atlantic Canadians to a 5-1 victory over Wildcats Elite in the opening round robin game for both at the Senior Chowder Cup underway this weekend in the Boston suburbs of Walpole, Foxboro and Canton.

The Chowder Cup is billed as the largest junior hockey championship in the world with 20 divisions of four teams each, for a total of 80 teams.

MONCTON, NB, July 13, 2008 - The names of the 21 players named to the 2008 Atlantic Canadians Chowder Cup Team were released Sunday, The team is largely comprised of New Brunswickers with 13 players from the province. There are four from Prince Edward Island, two from Nova Scotia, one from Newfoundland & Labrador and one from outside the region.
