CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI, September 23, 2009 - Former Summerside Western Capitals head coach Kenny MacDougall has been named the new head coach of the Team P.E.I. men's hockey team for the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, N.S.

FREDERICTON, NB, September 3, 2008 – Jim Midgley of Saint John, NB, an assistant coach with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League will serve as head coach of Team New Brunswick for the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, NS. Hockey New Brunswick made the announcement on Tuesday.

WHITEHORSE, YK, March 2, 2007 - Team New Brunswick assured themselves the highest ranking of any New Brunswick male hockey team at a Canada Games with a 6-3 victory over Team Nova Scotia Friday afternoon at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon.
 
OPPONENTS TOO MUCH FOR NB AND NS TEAMS
WHITEHORSE, YK, March 1, 2007 - Thursday was not a good day for either the New Brunswick or Nova Scotia teams in male hockey play at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon. Team New Brunswick was outscored 9-5 by Saskatchewan while Quebec defeated Nova Scotia for the second time. This time by a 7-1 score.

YK, February 28, 2007 - Nathan Dunnett of Miramichi stopped 60 of the 64 shots he faced from entering the net and the trio of Devon MacAusland, Kelsey Tessier and Patrice Cormier went on putting pucks into opponents nets as Team New Brunswick continued to surprise in male hockey at the Canada Winter Games this week in Whitehorse, Yukon.

WHITEHORSE, YK, February 27, 2007 - Both Team New Brunswick and Team Nova Scotia lost their quarterfinal games in male hockey at the 2007 Canada Winter Games being played in Whitehorse, Yukon. Team NB was edged 4-3 by Team Alberta while Team Nova Scotia was shutout 6-0 by Team Ontario.

WHITEHORSE, YK, February 25, 2007 - A trio of Southeastern New Brunswick hockey players playing their first game together accounted for all six of Team New Brunswick's goals and 13 points, but their team lfell short 8-6 in their opening game of the 2007 Canada Winter Games Saturday night.
