Maybe you’re going to college and need some experience. Or maybe you’re a writer or photographer wanting to break into the sports scene or someone who just loves hockey and would like to write about it or just take pictures of it.

Hockeyscene.com wants you. We prefer writers and photographers with a journalism background, but will consider anyone with a professional attitude combined with a strong desire to learn.

Hockeyscene.com has a qualified staff of volunteer writers, editors and photographers throughout Atlantic Canada. Our staff comes from a wide variety of backgrounds. And some have moved on to become well established in the sports industry with teams and other media.

Although all positions are currently unpaid volunteer, you will be provided with media credentials. This allows you to attend games and conduct interviews with everyone in the organization, from the owners and staff to players. Your work will also be credited and published on hockeyscene.com.

In exchange, you gain valuable experience and can pad your portfolio.
