THREE NOVA SCOTIANS OFF TO RIDLEY COLLEGE
HALIFAX, NS, September 14, 2009 - Three talented young Nova Scotia hockey players are headed to Ontario to study and play hockey at Ridley College, a co-educational boarding and day university-preparatory school located in St. Catharines, Ontario. 

Anderson Snair, Jared Dodman and Nic Parker have agreed to join the Ridley Tigers for the 2009-10 season. The Tigers plays division 1 prep school hockey in Canada and the USA..

Snair, a 6’2" former Halifax Hawk, was the two time winning goaltender at the Bantam AAA Esso tournaments, as well as helping his team win the provincial championship and Atlantic championship last season.

Dodman, a 6’3", 200lb defenceman for the South Shore Ice Sharks was named Top Defenseman in the Nova Scotia Bantam AAA Provincials in 2009.

Parker, a gifted goal scoring forward, played for the Valley Wildcats of the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League last season and was a fifth round pick of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles last June in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft.
