KENSINGTON AWARDED 2015 MIDGET ATLANTICS
KENSINGTON, PEI, August 20, 2014 - Hockey PEI announced Wednesday that the Kensington Wild has been selected as the host for the 2015 Major Midget Atlantic Championships. The Kensington Wild will host the event at the Community Gardens Arena from April 2-5, 2015.
 
HALIFAX McDONALDS CAPTURE GOLD MEDAL WIN

NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 6, 2014 - The Halifax McDopnald (NS) scored two unanswered goals in the third to skate to a 5-4 win over the Saint John Vitos (NB) and the gold medal as Major Midget Atlantics champs and will represent the region at the Telus Cup (National Championship). COMMENTS ADDED
 
MCDONALDS GO THROUGH ATLANTICS UNDEFEATED
NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 5, 2014 - The Halifax McDonalds won their final game of the Major Midget Atlantics 5-1 over Central Ice Pak to be the only team who won all their games in round robin play and now move on to the gold medal game tomorrow (Sunday) at 1:00pm. They will play the Saint John Vitos (NB) who lost just one game in round robin and that to the McDonalds.
 
VITOS ADVANCE TO GOLD MEDAL GAME
NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 5, 2014 - The Saint John Vitos (NB) ensured their appearance in the gold medal game of the Major Midget Atlantics with a 3-1 win over the host Pictou County Weeks. They will play the Halifax McDonalds for the title, the only team that won against them, Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm.
 
CENTRAL KEEPS HOPES ALIVE WITH WIN
NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 5, 2014 - The Central Ice Pak (NL) opened the final day of the Major Midget Atlantics with a 4-3 win over the Kensington Wild (PEI) to send the PEI representative home without a win. The final day of round robin features two more games with the Championship game Sunday at 1:00pm.
 
HALIFAX REMAINS UNDEFEATED AT ATLANTICS
NEW GLASGOW, April 4, 2014 - The two teams undefeated in the Major Midget Atlantics until this evening met for the evening game and when it was over the Halifax McDoanlds remained undefeated while the Pictou County Weeks now have a loss as the Macs won 2-1.
 
VITOS ADD ANOTHER WIN AT ATLANTICS
NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 4, 2014 - The Saint John Vitos bounced back from an earlier defeat today and topped the Kensington Wild 5-1 in a game late afternoon at the Major Midget Atlantics. They have now won two and lost one. The Wild have played three and have yet to win.
 
HALIFAX & PICTOU CO. PERFECT AT ATLANTICS
NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 4, 2014 - The Halifax McDonalds (NS) shut out the Saint John Vitos (NB) 5-0 in the noon hour game of the Major Midget Atlantics for their second win of the championships with five different skaters driving home pucks in the win and Reilly Pickard picking up the shutout. Pictou County Weeks also had their second win of the Atlantics besting the Central Ice Pak (NL) 3-1.
 
HOST WEEKS COME FROM BEHIND FOR WIN

NEW GLASGOW, NS, April 3. 2014 - The Pictou County Weeks (Host) came from behind and in the last few seconds of the game scored to win 4-3 over the Kensington Wild (PEI). It was the Wild’s second loss of the day. Tomorrow’s games get underway at 10:00am with the Saint John Vitos (NB) playing the Halifax McDonalds (NS) and continue until 8:00pm.

MONCTON, NB, April 6, 2013 - The Cornwall Thunder (PEI) moved on to an appearance in the gold medal game of the Major Midget Atlantics with a Saturday afternoon 4-4 with the Saint John Vitos (NB). They had earlier lost to the Western Kings (NL) 4-1 to drop back into a tie with both the host Moncton Flyers and Valley Wildcats (NS).
 
VALLEY KNOCKS FLYERS OUT OF GOLD WITH WIN
Moncton, NB, April 6, 2013 Prior to the Midget Major AAA Atlantic tournament beginning, alot of people had circled the ninth game of the round robin that featured the Moncton Flyers against the Valley Wildcats.  The two teams faced each other different times at other tournaments, with the Flyers having gained the upper hand.

MONCTON, NB, April 6, 2012 - The Western Kings from Corner Brook, NL won their first game in seven tries this season at the RedBall Internet Centre in Moncton Saturday morning in their final game upending the previously undefeated Prince Edward Island champion Cornwall Thunder 4-1.

VALLEY GETS SECOND WIN TO STAY IN HUNT
MONCTON, NB, April 5, 2013 - After besting the (HNB) Saint John Vitos 3-1 earlier in the day, the (HNS) Valley Wildcats faced off against the winless (HNL) Western Kings, in an afternoon tilt at the Midget Major Atlantics taking place in Moncton NB. The Wildcats routed the Kings 8-1.
 
BRADLEY LEADS FLYERS WITH FIVE HELPERS
MONCTON, NB, April 4, 2013 - The Moncton Mark's Work Wearhouse Flyers, hosts of the 2013 Major Midget Atlantics weren't very good hosts as they defeated the Western Kings (NL) 6-2 in the final game of the first day with Alex Bradley assisting on all but one of the Flyers goals.

MONCTON, NB, April 4, 2013 - Three point efforts by Jonathan Arsenault (2 goals and an assist) and Blaize Bridges (goal and two assists) led the Prince Edward Island champion Cornwall Superior Thunder to a surprising 6-1 victory over the Nova Scotia champion Valley Wildcats during opening day play at the Atlantic Region Magor Midget AAA Championship in Moncton. VITOS OPEN PLAY AT MIDGET ATLANTICS WITH WIN
MONCTON, NB, April 4, 2013 - Logan Saunders, Damian Gallant and Colin MacSween all contributed a goal and an assist Thursday afternoon to lead the New Brunswick representatives, the Saint John Vitos, to a 4-2 victory over the Western Kings in the opening game of the 2013 Atlantic Regional Major Midget AAA Championship being played this week at the Redball Internet Centre in Moncton.

Tuesday night they won their fourth game 4-3 against the Dartmouth Major Midgets to win the Nova Scotia Provincials and the right to go on to the Major Midget Atantics being held in Moncton starting April 4. They had earlier downed the Halifax Titans and knocked them out of contention in round robin play.
